#112 - Problems define you and your character

Problems are not stop signs, they are guidelines. Problems define you and your character. Every problem is a gift. Without them we wouldn’t grow. Replace the word problem with the word challenge. Below are some of the steps I follow to solve my problems

1. Never ignore the problem

Whatever you do, do not run away from your problems. Running away from a problem only increases the distance from the solution. Address and accept the problem.

2. Do not blame others for problems

Life is fleeting, latch on to nothing and embrace everything that comes your way. Do not waste time blaming or pointing to others, soon you will be dead. So embrace what comes your way and learn to make the most of it.

3. Get help

Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Everybody can use some help to solve their problem. Put your ego aside and ask people to help you.

4. DO NOT project your feeling at the problem

Whenever we look at any situation, we see ourselves or part of our past in it. When it comes to problem solving do not project any feelings or inner assumptions on to the problem

5. Study your problem

If you are unable to understand the cause of the problem, it is impossible to solve it.

Study your problem, understand what caused the problem.

Go out and find more information on the problem …

· Ask someone for help

· Find a book on it

· Find a Lecture/Seminar on it

· Question your perception on the problem, study it from all angles.
