#17 - Three Keys lessons to remember about Sowing & Reaping
(1) We cannot do anything about last year’s harvest.
(2) We must learn to live with the consequences of our failures.
(3) We must commit ourselves to this year’s harvest.
In life, we must only focus on what we can control, it is completely pointless to focus and worry about things that are outside of our control.
We cannot control the length of our life but we can control its width and depth.
We cannot control the contour of our countenance but we can control its expression.
We cannot control the other person’s annoying habits but we can do something about our own.
We cannot control the distance our head is above the ground but we can control the height of the contents we feed into it.
Any practice of philosophy which deprives a man of the privilege of going being a go-giver is unsound and doomed to failure. An important principle of success in all walks of life and in all occupations is a willingness to be a go-giver. this means rendering of more and better service and giving it in a positive mental attitude. As a go-giver, you will be planting the seeds of success. The principle is not the creation of man. It is a part of Nature’s handiwork.
