#99 - A goal without a plan is merely a wish

Every journey needs to be planned to ensure its success. The simpler the plan the easier it is to follow. Because complexity is the enemy of execution. A goal without a plan is merely a wish.

Your Plan must clearly reflect the below  

  1. Where are you? A

  2. Where you want to be exactly? B 

  3. Small objectives and milestones which help close the gap between A and B.  

4.Act, Measure, Reflect and Improve

Action - You do not manage time because you cannot control time. You do not manage priorities, you have priorities. You can only manage your actions. Have a clearly defined action Plan with end objective in mind.

Whenever you are debating taking action I want you to follow this simple process. Answer the 3 questions below:

  1. What is the best thing that can happen? Everything works out, great. Do whatever you are contemplating. 

  2. What is the worst thing that can happen? Does not work.

  3. What is the most likely thing to happen? - If the most likely thing takes you closer to your goal and you can live with the worst thing that can happen. TAKE ACTION.
